Equine Workshops Make Understanding Your Horse Fun and Informative
Love your horse but want to understand him or her better? Aspen Ridge Ranch in Red Lodge, Montana is hosting three Equestrian Weekend Workshops with AQHA Professional Horseman Bill Crabtree and his wife, Kristin. Unlike normal "clinics" The Crabtrees have worked with many students from across the nation every summer at their training facility in Red Lodge since the early 80's. Their main focus is on preventative medicine rather than quick fixes. Their years of experience and expertise will be a big asset to anyone's riding program. Come join us this summer at the base of the majestic "Beartooth Mountains" in beautiful Red Lodge, MT for some summer equestrian fun and education.

Aspen Ridge Ranch has activities for everyone. The Equine Center offers amenities to not only horse lovers but also to those who just love the outdoors. Owners may board their horses on the property and can ride miles of trails, use the arena, and participate in programs. But there’s plenty for the non-horseperson too. The trails are for everyone and there is nothing more beautiful and invigorating than hiking the trails at dawn or sunset. Groomed picnic areas and the barn facilities are the ideal spot to invite guests for barbeques and parties – perhaps even a wedding!
Numerous ponds create habitat for wildlife and sandhill cranes, ducks, geese, Bald eagles have been sited nearby. We stock our larger ponds with fish. In winter the Beartooth Recreational Trails Association operates the Nordic Center that offers miles of outstanding trails for two types of cross-country skiing. Their program includes teaching, clinics, picnics and moonlight skiing.
We call the lovely mountain stream that flows through the property Aspen Creek but it is really the West Fork Ditch. It irrigates not only our ag land but also our neighbors. All existing waters are dedicated for agricultural uses and maintaining wetlands.
